The interview

I wore my father's watch to the interview today. It's too big for my wrist and the glass is scratched, but it makes me feel like he's in the room with me. Three rounds, four hours. They asked me to design a system on a whiteboard and my hand was shaking. When I left, the recruiter walked me to the elevator and said 'We'll be in touch.' I can't tell if that's good or bad. I sat in a coffee shop for two hours afterwards, too wired to go home, too tired to do anything. Applied for seven jobs this month. This is the first callback.
